Services
Intent is pleased to offer competitively priced, professional cleaning services to the stretch tent and marquee industry.
Our service is available for clients with a large stock of equipment as well as those requiring a single clean.
Alongside deep cleaning, we also provide a full range of support services including repairs, delivery and collection on request. These complement our existing offerings of tent and equipment sales, dry hire, installation, removal, and secure storage.
Since acquiring our Teeco Signature 875 tent washing machine in February 2024, we have cleaned hundreds of stretch tents as well as a range of PVC marquees and walls.
This has provided us with extensive opportunities to refine and perfect wash cycles, washing powder, mould treatments, drying times and other procedures to deliver a complete and superior tent cleaning service.
Our machine can accommodate up to 350kg of fabric and can wash multiple tents simultaneously. Washing times typically range from 2 to 4 hours per load.

Our
Process
When we receive a tent for cleaning, it will be signed for by our team. The tents will then be weighed, labeled, and stored until the cleaning process begins.
When it is time to clean the tent, our team will take photographs to document its condition.
While we make every effort to document all damage, please be aware that small areas of damage that are not visible when the tent is laid flat may not be included in these photographs and may not be repaired.
After the tent has been removed from the machine, we will hang it to dry and then complete any necessary repairs.
We will repair all damage unless instructed otherwise, and our rates will be provided at the time of quoting. The client will be consulted in the event of any significant damage or unforeseen issues.
Hand washing may be necessary for stained or extremely dirty tents and will incur an additional charge. This will be assessed after the tent has been removed from the machine following the initial wash cycle.
We can clean any product that is inherently waterproof. Including but not limited to:
- Stretch tents
- Clearspan marquees
- Gazebo tops and walls
- PVC coated event tents and marquees
- Sail cloth marquees
- PVC coated covers
- Tarpaulins
- DandyDura type matting

We have two conveniently located warehouses, one in Reigate, Surrey and another near Yeovil, Somerset, where we have invested in a 180m2 cleaning areas that are climatically controlled for optimal temperature and humidity levels.
Our drying times vary between 36 and 60 hours.
This sealed area features a poured resin white floor, which provides the ideal surface for cleaning, inspecting, drying, and repairing tents.

Facility
Delivery and Collection
Our business hours for delivery and collection are 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Items can be dropped off at either SW or SE Branches.
We have a forklift and driver available for taking delivery of and loading tents. If tents are delivered without pallets and are not easily accessible, the client should provide crew members to assist with unloading.
We also offer delivery and collection services on request.
Cleaning Walls and Gutters
Gutters, tent walls, and tent bags are washed in the machine along with the tents. These items are priced separately by weight.
Repairs
We have the ability to repair damaged stretch tents including patches, small tears and damaged lugs. Images of any damage should be provided at the time of quoting.
The results
Our clients consistently report outstanding results from our cleaning process. Not only is the tent fabric thoroughly deep cleaned, but lugs and stitching are also left significantly cleaner compared to hand washing alone.
Please be aware that heat-pressed logos may detach during washing, and screen-printed designs or logos may experience some fading.
We have extensively tested RHI and Freeform tents and have observed no fading even after multiple washes.
However, deep cleaning older tents can sometimes expose underlying issues in the PVC layers due to age. For this reason, we take detailed before-and-after photographs and strongly recommend regular cleaning to help maintain fabric condition.
